Coke on Travertine Counter

Hi Maurizio, I sent you a question a few weeks ago and really appreciated your response...but I need help once more. A contractor placed a can of coke on our unsealed new travertine countertop. We have 3 rings about 1/4 the size of a coke can in our travertine. Is there anything we can do (or have done) to try and remove it? Thanks, Pat

Dear Pat:
Even if that top had been sealed (make believe sealed, that is!... :-)) it would have not made one iota of difference.
The phosphoric acid contained in most sodas etched the surface of the stone on contact.

Try the Marble Repair Kit. That should do it! :-)

Ciao and good luck,

Maurizio Bertoli
