Bianco Romano

So Maurizio, do you know if Bianco Romano a true granite? And can a chip in the surface of a counter be repaired? If so, how is it done? Thank you, Carol

Dear Carol:

To answer your first question, Bianco Romano is quarried in the state of Espirito Santo , Bra z il and is either part of the gneiss group or pegmatite. Certainly not granite by a long shot, but a good stone nonetheless.

A chip in the surface can be easily repaired by willing it with epoxy-glue and then “shaving” it with a ra z or blade when it's about to harden.

I do not consider it a DIY project.

May I ask you now to please read and e-sign our Statement of Purpose at: http:// www.marblecleaning.org/purpose.htm?   :-)

Ciao and good luck,

Mauri z io Bertoli
