Black slate tiles

What product should I use to clean the slate tile on my bathroom and shower floor. P.S. I have glass tile on the walls of the shower. Should I use something different to clean that?

Dear Tina:

It appears to me that you have the slate both inside the shower stall (floor only) and also in other areas of your bathroom, right?

If that's the case, the cleaning requirements are different. In fact, inside the shower stall you have to deal with an accumulation of soap film and mineral deposits, which require cleaning products different from anything else.

In conclusion, for outside the shower stall, you will need a good-quality stone spray-cleaner like MB-5 (for walls, and countertops), and a good-quality stone floor detergent ( not a stone soap) like MB-1 for floors only.

Inside the shower stall, both on your slate floor and glass walls, you have to use a product to remove soap film and mineral deposit, such as MB-3.

All mentioned products are available at: http://www.mbstonecare.com

May I ask you now to please read and e-sign our Statement of Purpose at: http://www.marblecleaning.org/purpose.htm?   :-)

Ciao and good luck,
