Countertop slabs don’t match

Hello, My Aunt is a widow and a senior, age 65, in California. She paid up front for the entire job. Blue Pearl countertops. One slab is not a match to the others and she is absolutely positive it was not on her pallet. She told the installer, he disagreed, she made him stop while she made the salesman come take a look but he said there was nothing he could do about it. The countertops are installed now. My Aunt doesn't know what to do now. Any advice for my Aunt would be highly appreciated.

Inasmuch we are here to help consumers win their battles, I really don't know how I could be of any help in this situation. The job is done; the two pieces of slab don't match… What can you possibly expect me to do? L

The way I see it is that your aunt should consult with a stone expert and then, if he agrees with her complaint, take the fabricator to court.
