Polishing / Restoring Engineered Stone

Q. The question I have is in regards to the new stones (Caesarstone, Silestone, etc.). What is the process of restoring these stones? Is this polished the same as marble?

A. Polishing engineered stone is different than natural stone. There are several cautions. First you must use diamonds designed for Engineered Stone. You cannot polish dry like you do with granite, it will burn the resins.  I have a DVD on the entire process that will walk you through it. You can order the video at www.ntc-stone.com
