Severely Etched Marble Shower

Q. We have green "Verde K" marble tiles on our shower walls. We bought a spray to use in the shower, which we sprayed and left on the surface for an extended period of time. It has seriously etched the surface and of course we now realize that it was acidic and is not to be used on the marble. Please, please advise what product to use to remove the etching and polish the surface to its former condition.
 
A. It sounds like the marble is etched beyond what any products can take care of. It needs to be professionally rehoned and polished which is not a DIY project. Click to locate a qualified stone restoration company in your area.
