40mm Black Star Galaxy with large gold flakes came from india

Q.I've just had star galaxy installed & it has small pits where the polisher came to the same level of the copper flakes. I spoken to the installation guy & spoken to 5 different other companies which have told me if is impossible to get pit free unless you pay top dollar i.e. in the ten of thousands?? Do the pits get worse after time? Do the gold flakes fall out if there are at the top of the stone? What is the best way of cleaning the stone? I use an e-cloth to clean the granite.
Hello-All star galaxy will exhibit an amount of pitting. It is natural and depending upon conditions at the quarry some slabs will have more pitting than others. The pits shouldnt get worse and you wont lose your gold(bronzite) flakes anytime soon. These slabs should always be checked prior to purchasing. Picking a bona fide fabricator with references is the way to go in any stone purchase.
As far as cleaning goes please do use our mb-5 daily cleaner. Dont worry to much about sealing your stone either, its not very porous. Enjoy it!
