yellowing age stains

Q.We have had a marble shower for 17 years. Recently we had the old framed shower door replaced by a beautiful new frameless door. Where the old frame was affixed to the marble walls there are yellowing stains. Is there anyway to clean or polish these areas that were covered by the old frame so that they will blend in with the original marble color?
A. Hi-It depends on a few issues such as how deep the stain has gone into the stone. You need to call a bona fide
stone refinisher who can determine if the stone is repairable.
