Q. I have glazed cremaic tile (Mahogany) and i had a guy come by to seal all my floors, i think its ruined, after he left, i see foot marks, its sticky and disgusting, i tried cleaning it with water, and with the steamer, nothing is working, he is not returning my calls, can u help me.... Thanks so much
A.Hello. Hey, ceramic tile doesn't need to be sealed period. The grout can, and should, be sealed but you must remove all the sealer residue from the surface of the tile promptly.
This is exactly why we encourage consumers to use QUALITY contractors. (Cheap doesn't necessarily save anyone money.) You may be at a point where you will need a pro to come in and chemically remove the sealer. It is not easy work and the guy you hire need sto know his stuff.
You can find a quality pro in your area by clicking on the Find a PRO section at www.stoneandtilepros.com.
