Grout Film on Travertine Tile |
Article Number: 776 | Rating: Unrated | Last Updated: Mon, Nov 12, 2007 at 12:00 AM |
How can you remove grout film form travertine tile. On newly installed back tile.
Dear Wayne:
If it's just a film you can remove it with a good quality alkaline cleaner with chelates in its formula rated for natural stone, like MB-3, and lots of scrubbing.
If it's a large floor you will need a professional floor machine and with red nylon pad under it.
Rinse thoroughly a couple of times and then finish with a nice clean with MB-1.
