Damaged Granite kitchen sink

My sink has lost its sheen or lustre, when doing our reno some product was cleaned(grout) in it by mistake and now it has a greyish look compared to the top of sink. Hope you can help me. Your website is so inyeresting. Thank you, michelle from Vancouver Canada

Dear Michelle:

It must have been some chemical!!

Or it must have been some “granite”!…

No matter what, without any other information and the possibility to visually inspect your sink it is impossible for me to come up with any intelligent conclusion.

Your best course of action is to consult with a reputable stone restoration contractor in your area.

May I ask you now to please read and e-sign our Statement of Purpose at: http://www.marblecleaning.org/purpose.htm?

Ciao and good luck,
