Black granite grave marker |

How do I remove hard water stains from a black granite grave marker and is there anything that can be placed on the marker to prevent them from returning? The granite does shine when wet. Thanks

In the stone world there is only one instance, and one instance only, when the perceived problem always correspond to the real problem: when a piece of stone is broken.
In all other instances, the perceived problem may correspond to the actual one, but then again it may not.
