Q.My cat urinated on my lagoz azul floor and I tried all stone cleaners on it but I can still see, in the light, the "trail" of where he went. What can I do to remove this safely? Also, can scratches be removed on my Absolute Black Granite countertops and how does Granite scratch so easily?
A.Hi Leslie-Your stone isnt dirty so even a tanker truck of cleaning product wont solve your problem.
Your stone is etched cat urine is loaded with acid.Your stone is loaded with calcium carbonate. It is acid sensitive and will react with acids by neutralizing them. That is where the so called water marks have come from.
A bona fide stone refinisher can repair the damage for you.
Ok leslie-fess up what kind of cat lives in your home? a siberian tiger!!
Black ab is very hard and dense. Not easily scratched! Tell us more or better yet tell it to the stone refinisher when he repairs your other damage.
