painted sandstone outdoors

problem: someone painted epoxy paint on steps & building(2) years ago. the top is pealing off. horizonal & vertical areas. i will have to sandblast to remove ? what do i treat with after epoxy is removed 440 487-0990 this is a big job.

Dear Fabian:

What do you mean by, “ what do I treat with after epoxy is removed ”?

It's a stone installed outdoors, for crying out loud: leave it alone! Wasn't the “treatment” they did to it bad enough already?!...

Do you think that the Egyptians ever treated their Pyramids? Or the Romans the Coliseum? Or the French their Arc de Triumph?...

To make sure, it is probably the wrong stone for the application, but it is not by “treating it with something” that you could change that.

May I ask you now to please read and e-sign our Statement of Purpose at: http://www.marblecleaning.org/purpose.htm?

Ciao and good luck,
