Hello Maurizio, In your opinion, can I use mossaic onyx tiles for the backsplash ? If I can, then how should it be properly installed ? Seal first, then grout ? Grout ,then seal ? How should I take care of it on the daily bases ? Please recommend your products. Thank you. Biana
Dear Biana:

The last time I checked, there was no law against it.

However, if you plan to use your stovetop intensively, I wouldn't list that material among my favorite. It's kinda too delicate to expose to steam and splatters; it will lose its polish within months.
That said, the stone is too dense to be sealed; so, no sealing before or after grouting will ever be possible. As for its routine care, the same products that you will be using for your countertop (MB-5 and MB-13) will be perfect for it.
May I ask you now to please read and e-sign our Statement of Purpose at:

Ciao and good luck,
