Tumbled Marble maintenance |
Article Number: 1043 | Rating: Unrated | Last Updated: Mon, Jan 14, 2008 at 12:00 AM |
Hi Maurizio, I am totally renovating my bathroom and would like to use tumbled marble throughout-floors, shower stall and walls. We also are planning on having a steam shower. People have told me it will require alot of maintenance. If properly installed is this a good choice for the bathroom? I love the look and really want to have it in my new bathroom but I am conflicted about different stories I am hearing. Thank you so much!
Dear Kathy:
“
People have told me it will require alot of maintenance
”
Did they tell you why, or did they just open their big mouth without any sensible explanation just to show off how “knowledgeable” they are?
Tumble-finished marble (or any other stone for that matter) is a rugged finish that makes the stone as close to maintenance-free as possible.
Ignore those “gurus” and just go for it!
All you will need is to learn a few basic and simple maintenance guidelines.
