Bluestone as countertop

Hi Maurizio, I am considering using bluestone for my kitchen and bathroom countertops. I understand they are prone to staining but was wondering if I could effectively seal them with a sealer or wax? Thank you, Kevin

Dear Kevin:

was wondering if I could effectively seal them with a sealer or wax?

First off, a wax has nothing to do with sealing. Second, the answer to your question is, no. No sealer for stone can guarantee effective sealing on any stone that could be sealed, let alone a sponge like bluestone.

May I ask you now to please read and e-sign our Statement of Purpose at: http://www.marblecleaning.org/purpose.htm?

Ciao and good luck,
