Crystalization of Marble

What is better to crystalize or to polish a newly place marble floor.

Dear Otto:

The question should not even exist. In fact, if you care about my opinion, crystallization should not even exist.

Not only is it not polishing of stone, but it is of no utility whatsoever, and risky to boot: certain marbles just can't take that heavy-duty chemical beating.

To put it down nicely, I consider people who do crystallization (as you can see I don't even call them contractors) as incompetent hacks that try to substitute the real thing with an easier to use “miracle-in-a-bottle.”

‘Nuff said.

But may I ask you why you want to polish a brand-new marble floor? What's wrong with it? Have it professionally cleaned (possibly detailed), do NOT seal it (better said: pretend to seal it), and learn how to take care of it on a routine basis which, as it should be intuitive, is vastly more important than anything else.
