crema marfil with water spots

My bathroom countertop is a beautiful polished crema marfil slab. Unfortunately, there are what I believe to be water or soap "marks" surrounding the opening for the undermount sink. From reading some of Q+A on your very helpful website, it appears that MB-11 might be helpful. If it is effective in removing these marks, how do I care for the polished marble thereafter to prevent these marks from from reoccurring? Thank you in advance for your assistance.

Dear Sue:

If it is effective in removing these marks

Yes, it is

how do I care for the polished marble thereafter to prevent these marks from from reoccurring?

You can't prevent those types of light surface damages from occurring. It is the nature of most marbles and it can't be helped, with a sealer or whatnot. L

May I ask you now to please read and e-sign our Statement of Purpose at: http://www.marblecleaning.org/purpose.htm?

Ciao and good luck,
