Honed black ganite with white veining and spotty finish

Just had above installed today and find that there is sreaking in finish like was sealed in spots but not all.Very inconsistant .Also there are marks made by marker in surface. Can this be removed? I love the overall look as this stone has white streaks much like marble. It has grey cast and love to use MB6 color enhancer. Also has scratch marks in one spot. What do you think

Dear Richard:

What do I think?

I have no idea of what you're talking about – that's what I think!

A hone-finished black “granite” with white veining like marble…??? NASA must be the supplier and the stone must come from Mars or something!! J

I also can't picture in my mind this reported finish “ like was sealed in spots but not all.

And the scratches, too…

Before you go online and buy MB-6 or anything else, you'd better consult with a reputable stone restoration contractor in your neck of the woods to find out, first, what kind of stone you have; second what the story is about with that suspicious finish, scratches and all. The whole thing doesn't sound “kosher” one bit. L

Get back to me after you did that. In the meantime…

May I ask you now to please read and e-sign our Statement of Purpose at: http://www.marblecleaning.org/purpose.htm?

Ciao and good luck,
