Absorption and Warped Granite Tile |
Article Number: 1630 | Rating: Unrated | Last Updated: Fri, Sep 5, 2008 at 12:00 AM |
We recently purchased 1200 sq ft of 18x18 Raja Yellow granite tile-the contractor just started to lay it and is finding some of the tiles not to be completely flat-some up to 1/8" cupped making it extremely difficult to work with- did we get inferior stone? The tiles also appear to be absorbing the color of the gray thinset- HELP! Will the tile go back to its original color when dry? It is being installed with Seuter dietra. |
