How to remove etching on marble

Q. How can I remove water stains or acid stains on marble? On these spots the shine is gone. Is there a simple way to restore the shine?

A. If the etching is not too severe you can use a marble polishing powder such as MB Stone Care MB-11 which you can purchase at www.mbstonecare.com.

How do you know if it is too severe? If you can feel the roughness with your fingertips or the area is too big, it will require a professional. (Click here to locate a qualified stone restoration contractor in your area: www.stoneandtilepros.com. )

Good luck and let us know if you need any more help.
