Problems with slate backsplash.

Q.I am considering installing 4x4 slate tiles copper-rust 10cm in kitchen backsplash. Is this recommended, or is cleaning too tough. What issues do I need to deal with for selection and installation. I want the tiles sealed to enhance the color, too.
A.Hi-It really depends on your own preference.Test the slate using the lemon test. This will test for porousity and acid sensitivity. Then you can determine if thats suits your needs and your kitchen. As far as installation the best thing you can do is work with a bona fide tile contractor with references.
Our MB-6 is an excellent color enhancer that is a sealer as well. Always test the color enhancer on a spare piece of tile prior to application.
