Travertine floow - cracks & etching |
Article Number: 1787 | Rating: Unrated | Last Updated: Fri, Apr 17, 2009 at 12:00 AM |
Q.We have honed travertine floors which were sealed when installed 5 years ago. I dropped a bottle of vinegar and it etched the floor. Is there a way to fix this? Also, we have several cracked tiles, how can this be addressed? Thanks
Hello Elizabeth-The whole bottle! We make a product called mb-11 that works on small etches but sometimes
works on larger ones.I dont think it could fix a whole bottle worth of etching.Maurizio called it happiness in a jar!
Cracked Tiles if not structural can be repaired. If they are structural it may be a big job to replace them.
I think you should consider calling a pro to repair your floor. He or She will make it look like new again.
