Acid Burn/ Etching

Q.I am wanting to install a polished natural marble benchtop to my kitchen and even though it can be sealed with an impregnating sealer to stop staining from the absorption of liquids is there any product available to stop the acid burn issue such as from vinegar, lemon juice etc. A.Hi-First off depending on what type of marble you have test the porousity before you seal. Do the water test prior to sealing. As far as a product to stop etching nope, nada, nothing we know of. Check out our websites and get some much needed info. Consider having your benchtop honed instead of polished. It will wear better but first get informed so you can make a decision based on facts. You will be glad you did !!
