honed black absolute granite countertop

After sadly reading about the high maintenance issues with the above mentioned countertop (which we just had installed in our kitchen), I'm interested in the MB6 color enhancer. However, since I'm concerned about putting toxic chemicals onto my countertops where people will be eating and preparing food my countertop currently has nothing on it (no sealer, etc.) but I know it needs to be treated in some way to hide the potential stains. Can you tell me what's in this stuff? Thanks.

LLG:

Let me ask you a question: do you really think that if somebody made a product that turns out to be toxic, this somebody would be still in business and a free man??...

MB-6 contains a special acrylic resin, which, like any other resin (acrylic or not) used to make color-enhancing products and/or impregnator, is a totally inert material after is properly cured (24 hours).

The carrier that takes the resin to the stone is mineral spirit and, once it evaporates, is forever gone.

May I ask you now to please read and e-sign our Statement of Purpose at: http://www.marblecleaning.org/purpose.htm?   :-)

Ciao and good luck,

Mauri zio Bertoli
