hard water stains on Uba Tuba |
Article Number: 717 | Rating: Unrated | Last Updated: Mon, Oct 29, 2007 at 12:00 AM |
How can I gently clean off hard water deposites around sink faucets without harming my counter top. I would normally use diluted vinegar on any other surface. Is this safe to use on my Uba Tuba couter top?
Dear Rosanne:
Using anything acidic on natural stone is never a good idea.
Remove the worst with a razor blade (no it will not scratch the stone surface) and then finish the job with an alkaline product with chelates in its formula rated for natural stone, like MB-3.

Ciao and good luck,
