Travertine slab care
|Article Number: 792 | Rating: Unrated | Last Updated: Sat, Nov 17, 2007 at 12:00 AM|
Is travertine that has been sealed a good choice for a bathroom countertop. We are remodeling our bathroom, and using tumbled marble and ceramic on the floors and the shower and was wondering what to use on the countertop. Thanks, Joy
I all depends on how good a routine care you will use on it, which the sealing is not certainly part of. I mean, who wants/needs to seal travertine anyway and for what??…
Try to get the right intelligence about every day care, for a change. The issue of what you'll be doing day in and day out to your stone is – as it should be intuitive – vastly more important than its sealing (if and when possible and/or advisable, which in this cas is simply ridicolous) and it's all too often neglected. As you can tell by reading many of this site's postings, you're not likely to get good information about routine care from your dealer or installer. Don't become another statistic! By logging into the Helpful Hints section of our website at: http://www.marblecleaning.org/helpful-hints.htm , you will be able to get the short version of our maintenance guidelines at no charge.
