Polished Marble Tiles on kitchen island |
Article Number: 800 | Rating: Unrated | Last Updated: Mon, Nov 19, 2007 at 12:00 AM |
I just installed polished marble tiles on my island countertop. (I know it's not the best choice for kitchens) Is there anything I can apply that would help prevent etching, etc, or do I just leave it as is, wipe up spills quickly, and repolish someday when dull? Thanks, Ed
Dear Eddie:
If there were something to prevent etching it wouldn't be such a bad choice after all, would it?
J
The answer to your first question is no, and the answer to your second question is yes.
You may consider “making friends” with a good-quality marble repair kit…
