cleaning Jerusalem stone

I have a new bathroom with Jerusalem stone floors, countertops, and shower walls. Hopefully the tiles were sealed correctly. Which products do I need to keep my bathroom looking clean and beautiful.

Dear Susan:

If they sealed the inside of the shower stall, that was not the “correct” sealing to do: it is never a good idea to seal stone in a wet environment.

Not to mention that instead of being concerned about the sealing of the stone, you should have been much more concerned about the way it was installed! No-sealing will never create any real maintenance problems – a poor installation will, and with no solution to boot!

That said, let's not be pessimistic and let's hope that the installation was done properly.

As it should be intuitive, the routine cleaning of your stone is far more important that the sealing.
