Hard water deposits on granite

I have what appears to be white areas around my sink area from water deposits on my granite. Are the water deposits absorbed by the granite to give the white spotted look or will your MB3 cleaner remove the deposits?? I don't feel a film on the granite except around the faucet. The other areas seem like it has been absorbed so I'm not certain if a razor blade would help.

Dear Rebecca:

You don't need to necessarily feel a film to have the visual effect of mineral deposits. Around the faucets I would recommend to remove the worst with a razor blade (no, it will not scratch the stone!), and then finish the job with MB-3.

May I ask you now to please read and e-sign our Statement of Purpose at: http://www.marblecleaning.org/purpose.htm?

Ciao and good luck,
