painting on limestone and then treating

HI there, am going to paint a mural on a limestone backsplash that will then be installed behind a stovetop. How should I seal the painting before the installer puts it in? Please help. I want it to be durable enough to withstand steam and heat......and wiping. thanks.

Dear Neapolis:

I have to words for you: Dream on!

Unless NASA found some special sealer on Mars over their latest mission over there, on our little blue planet there's no such animal.

Murals on back-splashes are beautiful indeed, but certainly not near a stove.

May I ask you now to please read and e-sign our Statement of Purpose at: http://www.marblecleaning.org/purpose.htm?

Ciao and good luck,
