black mold on limestone

We had a lovely limestone bathroom put in last year including limestone bowls. I am now horrified to find black mold deposits on the bowls around the waste. I don't want to scrub it off, normal cleansers don't work, can you advise how I can get rid of it and stop it from recurring?

Dear Veronica:

Your limestone may be “lovely”, but I personally would have not gotten a limestone toile bowl if they'd pay me big money to get it!

At any rate, your only hope is the use a potent alkaline cleaner designed to deal with mildew stain and mold, rated “for natural stone” like MB-9.

May I ask you now to please read and e-sign our Statement of Purpose at: http://www.marblecleaning.org/purpose.htm?

Ciao and good luck,

Maurizio Bertoli
