Our home came installed with Slate bathrooms including a slate shower. No one ever told us what to do to keep it clean. Currently we have been using tilex shower spray to attempt to keep our shower clean. Recently white areas have been appearing on the slate. Is there something specifically we should be doing to keep my slate shower looking new? I want to balance between keeping the grout clean and the actual stone looking nice. As for the non-shower flooring we have been moping it with the Murphy's wood oil we used to mop the rest of the house. No where have I been able to find a maintenance guide to care for my bathroom. I have a feeling I'm doing everything wrong... Thanks in advance

Oh, you've got that right!!

There's not much that you can do for the damge you caused to your stone inside the shower stall, other than hoping that a good-quality stone color enhancer like MB-6 will effectively hide the etch marks caused by the cleaning agent you used.

And Murphy Oil for your floors??… Please!! L
