Crack in Travertine Countertop

Hi Marizio, I am purchasing a condo which has a travertine bathrooom countertop which has developed a crack, running from the sink to the edge of the counter. Is this something to be concerned about. I can email you a picture. Thanks, John

Dear John:

Is this something to be concerned about

I don't know. Sometimes a crack settles for ever; some other times it gets worse.

I can email you a picture.

You're welcome to it, but I really don't need to see what a crack looks like. And by just looking at a picture I could not certainly determine whether there's going to be any further development. Actually, I could not determine that not even if I could physically inspect your top.

May I ask you now to please read and e-sign our Statement of Purpose at: http://www.marblecleaning.org/purpose.htm?

Ciao and good luck,
