stone restoration business

I am the fabrication & installation supervisor of a medium sized stone fabrication shop. We have begun the process of educating ourselves on PROPER stone care for our customers. We have been getting a number of calls regarding restoring the shine to various types of stone. Since no one in our area is doing this we want to start a sister company for repair & restoration. What would be your best advice on getting educated in this matter. I am turning down work, because at this time I am afraid we could possibly make these situations worse, if we don't know exactly what we are doing. We want to get into this area of the stone business, but we want to do it right. Any information would be greatly appreciated. Thank You

Dear Dan:

Well, my dear new friend, I really have to be heavily biased on this one! J

I do teach 3-day stone restoration classes at international level: USA , Australia and China .

I will not go on record telling you that my class is the best and all that (although, of course, I intimately believe that), but what I'd like you to do is to log on at: http://www.mbstone.com/training/ training_&_consultation.htm and read the testimonials of previous students. You can also check the exciting menu and the next date! You can even register online! (I take no more than 10 students and I have only 4 spots left for the class of March.)

I hope to see you in Philly soon! J

Ciao and good luck,

Maurizio Bertoli
