travertine marble apron sonk

I have a polished tavertine marble apron sink that leaks or more specifically "seeps"(apparently due to porosity or a natural flaw in the stone). What can I treat the bowl with to seal the pores and/or flaw?

Dear Michael:

It must be something structural. The stone itself has nothing to do with it.

I don't think that even the bestest impregnating sealer on the market could fix your problem. Travertine is more porous than marble (marble is very dense; travertine is slightly porous), but it is impossible that water could go through the stone.

Look for the real problem.

May I ask you now to please read and e-sign our Statement of Purpose at: http://www.marblecleaning.org/purpose.htm?

Ciao and good luck,
