Dear
Bill:
MC was
the thing to use to find that out up to a few years ago. Apparently the crooks
have come up with some sort of black shoe-shine that is almost
solvent-resistant. However, acid will tell for sure. Spill some white vinegar of
lemon or lime juice on a piece of scrap, let it sit there for several minutes
and then wipe it dry.
But… if
marblecleaning.org could have its way, there wouldn't be any need for this,
because all that phony stuff would be banned from the market.
May I ask
you now to please read and e-sign our Statement of Purpose at: http://www.marblecleaning.org/purpose.htm?
Ciao and
good luck,
Mauri
