Black Ardesia tile

Hello, I have outdoor black tile-"Black Ardesia".Now this tile "have" white stains.I have photo. What is the problem? Thanks.

Dear Juozas:

Black Ardesia is black slate.

I thought for a whole minute, but I could not think of a stone worse than that for outdoors. L

The white “stains” are marks of corrosion that anything acidic will make by just coming in contact with your stone.

Only a proficient stone restoration contractor would be able to fix them.

But why bother?

It will be the same over again in not time.

And, no, there's no “sealer” that could “protect” your stone from those kinds of surface damages.

May I ask you now to please read and e-sign our Statement of Purpose at: http://www.marblecleaning.org/purpose.htm?

Ciao and good luck,
