Hello, I recently had my kitchen renovated and I noticed that the color of my granite would have match a lot better with my kitchen backsplash and tiles if I had went with a darker granite. The name of the granite is called starwhite and it contains some grey, creme and streaks of black and brown. I was wishing that it contained more brown to really match with the rest of my kitchen. Do you have any suggestions to darken the granite in areas where it is really light? Is there any household or professional products that can be used to achieve some brown hues? Please advise

Not that I know of. However, if when your stone is wet it becomes (temporarily) darker and meets the hue that you're after, a good-quality stone coloer enhancer lilke MB-6 would give you the same “wet-look permanently.

Other than that, there's nothing out there, sorry.

Now remember, it's never too early to think about the proper maintenance of your stone. The issue of what you'll be doing day in and day out to your stone is – as it should be intuitive – vastly more important than its sealing (if and when possible and/or advisable) and it's all too often neglected.
