Grout for marble shower stall floor

I want to regrout a shower floor. On all the ready mix grout I find, it says not recommend for shower floors. What is recommended for a shower floor? I know it needs to be unsanded because the grout line is very small. No one at home depot or lowes can answer my question. When I read on what they recommend, it always says not recommended for shower floor. Please help

Dear Elaine:

Use color-matching latex-based siliconized caulk, and forget about it for the next 25 years or so. J

However, there's a question that crosses my mind and begs to be asked: Why do you have to re-grout your shower stall floor? Why did the original grout came off?

Do you have water under your tiles? And if so, are going to get rid of that water before you seal it in with grout? Besides, if you have water under the tiles, no grout or caulk or whatnot will vedr bond properly.

But I just hope to be extra-suspicious…

May I ask you now to please read and e-sign our Statement of Purpose at: http://www.marblecleaning.org/purpose.htm?

Ciao and good luck,
