I found nice tiles, made in Brazil that are porcalain. Would this be good for a shower wall? If so what is the best way to clean or maintain them?

Porcelain tiles are harder than granite and impervious to just about everything!
Just make sure that the installer does a good job, because if the installation is faulty, no matter how good the material is, it's going to fail!

As for the routine care, any cleaning product off the shelves of your supermarket will do.
