Granite Countertop/Backsplash Cleaning
Q. We installed granite countertops in our kitchen about a year ago. The edge where countertop meets backsplash became dark and greasy near the faucet. We have tried to clean with water but the problem remains. Any suggestions or recommendations on cleaning and care products to resolve this?

A. Hi Eugene: It sounds like the oil and grease has penetrated into the stone. You will have to use a poultice with degreaser. Refer to our care guide at
