Limestone pool coping

Q.We have many stains on our pool coping from moss, leaves etc. What is the best thing to clean them? Should this be sealed after cleaning, or should it have been sealed when installed. The pool was installed late last year, and already the coping looks like it has been there 20 years. I think it is Indiana Limestone?
A.Hello-I would try our MB-2 heavy duty cleaning solution and a good stiff brush.Let the product sit on the stone wet for a good 15 minutes. As far as the stone being sealed the question is will it make the surface more slippery.I would think a reputable installer would have addressed these issues even before placing the stone.
If the stains are deep you may need the services of a bone fide stone restoration pro.
