Acid stains on granite

Q.The workman who just re-cemented the joints of my front porch, which is made of granite, together used some acid like substance to remove the extra cement - then he applied a granite sealant oil. My porch, where he worked, now has a dull white dusty look. What can I do?
A. There may be a fix but I need some more info.
Type of granite, honed or flamed, what type acid was used.
Most granites are acid resistant but stronger acid can etch the stone. There is a possibility that your etch mark can be honed out out using diamond abrasives or nylo grit brushes.
What can you do?sit down pour your favorite beverage and call a bona fide stone refinisher.
