Black ceramic floor tiles 600x600

Q.Hi, I recently purchased & laid a lot of floor tiles in my house. I had to leave the grout on & took it off after it had dried, im now left with grey Smokey marks where I had to scrub the tiles using the correct tile cleaner in the correct manner. This has ruined the floor; please can you suggest or recommend something to bring life back into the floor. I have not sealed it yet either. Many thanks!!!!!!!!!!!!
Hello-sounds like you have a case of grout residue. I doubt that you have ruined the tiles. What was the correct tile cleaner used in the correct manner? It could have been the incorrect chemical after all. You will need an acidic grout residue remover to remove the haze and grout residue.
Depending on the surface of the tile you may need to use a soft scrub like comet.
You have a way to go before you can think about sealing.
Anyway the question is do need to seal the grout. If its in a dinning or eating area it wouldnt hurt.
We make a great water based sealer that is easy to use and has a ten year waranty.
Send me an e-mail mail@stoneshine.com if you need additional info.
