Q.I have a massive problem. I purchased 464 sq m of honed Travertine tile 610 x 610 mm to do our whole house and porches. The travertine was down for about 6 weeks when tiles started errupting holes, first small and then literally growing before your very eyes. Some holes now are up to 8 cm in length and 4 cm in width. What would cause such a thing and how do you know how many tiles are involved. I have had laid so far 241 sq m and have another 200 sq m to go. I no longer have any confidence in this product and virtually want the supplier to refund my $70,000 of my life savings back. The supplier is trying to blame the installer, of course !!!
