Q. Is there any advantage of using this product on limestone shower and granite (SF Verde and Absolute Black Brushed)?
A. If you are refering to products made by matcrete they are for concrete and not natural stone. First off all natural stone should be tested for porousity prior to sealing. The test is simple.
Puddle up a palm sized puddle of water and let it sit on the stone surface for ten minutes.
Wipe it away and if a darker mark remains you know you have an absorbant stone.
Natural stones should be sealed with impregnating sealers
that go below the surface and protect it from possible staining agents. It will not protect against acid etching if it is  an acid sensitive stone.(marble, limestones, etc)
Your black absolute is virtually non porous but you may want to color enhance the stone to deepen the color and give it a more uniform finish when it is brushed.
We recommend MB STONECARE products and sealers.
Try MB-4 impregnating sealer for your porous stones.
It has a ten year warranty.
MB-6 is a wonderful color enhancing sealer that will give your black absolute a nice rich color.
