Travertine cleaning

What is the best way to clean Travertine flooring? Can I use one of those steam cleaners? The mop doesn't seem to get it clean enough. Thank you

Dear Dawn:

If it is the right mop and you use the right cleaning product (like MB-1) with it, unless it's the floor of a restaurant kitchen, there's no reason why your floor should not get cleaned.

However, using a steamer is indeed acceptable, as long as you use the appropriate cleaning solution, for water alone won;t cut it, not even in steam form.
