Blue Volga: Removing sealant/impregnator

Hello: We just had (yesterday) Blue Volga countertops installed. As a "finishing touch" the installer wiped-on/wiped-off an impregnator/sealer. From your comments, it appears that this isn't needed and may, indeed, even be harmful. what do I do? FWIW, we're left with streaks that don't seem to wipe off, but we haven't tried real hard yet. Thanks!

Dear Joe:

what do I do?

I wish that all questions were so easy to answer! You call you fabricator back and demand him to remove the stupid sealer that had no business being there. Whatever is left (the streaks that you see) is only sitting on the surface and if he knows at least the 10% of what is doing, it shouldn't be a big deal for him to do that. If he won't adhere to your demand, you will have your attorney write him a “nice” letter. That will do for sure!!

May I ask you now to please read and e-sign our Statement of Purpose at: http://www.marblecleaning.org/purpose.htm?   J

Ciao and good luck,
